While it may not have been as sunny and hot this week as last, the people of Belfast were still making sure to enjoy themselves.
Whether it’s catching up with friends and family, heading out for a few post-work pints, or enjoying a date night, the city centre was certainly busy on Friday evening.
As Covid restrictions are lifted, more and more people have been heading out to enjoy the many brilliant bars and restaurants throughout Belfast.
We sent Belfast Live photographer Justin Kernoghan out into the city to capture revelers catching up once again.
People were getting into the weekend spirit early on Friday afternoon, whether it was with some food or a refreshing pint at the end of a long week.
On Friday, the Northern Ireland Executive loosened further Covid restrictions, reducing the social distancing requirement in retail premises and no longer making it a requirement in hospitality.
Expanding their previous decision, to allow the return of live music in concert halls and theatres, the Executive also agreed to include other indoor venues such as function rooms of hotels, or community halls.
Our photographer Justin Kernoghan took to the city centre on Friday to capture those out enjoying themselves this weekend.
