Martin Braithwaite’s agent launched a furious attack on Jorge Mendes after his client was linked with a move to Wolves.
Hasan Cetinkaya denied the Denmark international is moving from Barcelona to Molineux and stated that Mendes, who has close ties with the Premier League club, has no business in interfering in his player’s career.
Braithwaite has been the subject speculation over his club future in recent weeks after an impressive Euro 2020 campaign.
The rumours the star could move from Barca have grown in recent days after it was reported the Spanish giants have made him available this summer.
Martin Braithwaite has been linked with Wolves
Mail Online say Barca have tried to get Wolves to sign the player but his agent vehemently denies the move.
Cetinkaya told BT newspaper: “Jorge Mendes has nothing to do with Martin Braithwaite, he is also false like all the other writings. Jorge Mendes does not have players in Barcelona. In Wolverhampton he can concentrate, but I take care of my players in Barcelona.
“Why should Martin Braithwaite move to Wolverhampton, and why should an agent who has no players in Barcelona try to bring my player to Wolverhampton, even though I know Jorge Mendes has good connections with clubs like Wolverhampton? It’s a waste of time for all.
